ASH WEDNESDAY
Wednesday 5 March
Eucharists with Imposition of Ashes
8am, 11am (BCP), 12.30pm, 6pm
This marks the beginning of our Lenten journey. The 6pm service is sung by the Cathedral Choir.
The Revd Canon Andy Bryant, Canon for Mission and Pastoral Care, will be preaching.
MOTHERING SUNDAY
Sunday 30 March
Family Eucharist, 10.30am
The Very Revd Dr Andrew Braddock, Dean of Norwich, will preach and gifts of flowers will be distributed.
PALM SUNDAY
Sunday 13 April
Sung Eucharist starting with a procession from The Forum, 10am
Join us for the procession of the palms, arriving at the Cathedral for the 10.30am Sung Eucharist.
FIG MONDAY
Monday 14 April
Chrism Eucharist, 11am
Clergy from across the Diocese renew their vows and the Holy Oils are blessed.
MAUNDY THURSDAY
Thursday 17 April
Eucharist of the Last Supper, 7pm
The Revd Canon Aidan Platten, Canon Precentor, will preach at this service recalling Jesus’ last supper. The feet of some congregation members will be washed and the sacrament taken to the Altar of Repose where a watch will be kept until midnight.
GOOD FRIDAY
Friday 18 April
At the Foot of the Cross, 11am
A gathering for all ages to reflect on the events of Good Friday.
Good Friday Meditation, 1pm
Led by Canon Susanna Gunner.
Solemn Liturgy, 2pm
We celebrate the Liturgy of Good Friday with the procession and veneration of the Cross and singing of the Passion.
HOLY SATURDAY
Saturday 19 April
Easter Vigil with Baptism and Confirmation, 8pm
The first celebration of Easter as we gather around the Easter fire, hear stories of God’s saving love, light the Easter candle and celebrate with those being confirmed.
Please bring something to make noise as we celebrate the start of Easter with fanfares.
EASTER SUNDAY
Sunday 20 April
Festal Eucharist, 10.30am
The Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Revd Graham Usher, will preach and those who attend the service will be invited to join in an Easter egg hunt.
Festal Evensong, 3.30pm
The Very Revd Dr Andrew Braddock, Dean of Norwich, will preach.

Stations of the Cross and Compline
Every Sunday from 9 March to 13 April, 6pm
A prayerful pilgrimage around the Cathedral reflecting on the Stations of the Cross.
This will be followed by Compline.
On Sunday 16 March, Compline will be sung by candlelight.
Lent Addresses – The Passion through the Evangelist’s Eyes
Every Wednesday from 12 March to 9 April, 7.30pm
Set in the context of the Eucharist, this year's Lent Addresses will explore seeing the story of Jesus from different perspectives and through different eyes.
Monday 14 to Wednesday 16 April, 7pm
This year’s Holy Week reflections will be led by Canon Susanna Gunner who will also lead the Good Friday meditation on 18 April at 1pm.
