School holiday fun

We love to welcome children, young people and families to Norwich Cathedral.

During term time our Schools and Family Learning department welcomes many school visits. However, the fun doesn’t stop there, with regular events and activities for children and families during the school holidays! We are also keen to welcome young people with their youth groups, clubs or uniformed organisations such as Guides and Scouts.

Activity days and trails

As well as seeing the Cathedral itself and spending time in this wonderful space, young people can also enjoy taking part in activities such as trails, crafts, music, dance and storytelling.

Our themed activity days are always very popular - keep an eye on the Cathedral’s What's On page for details of our latest events!

Explorer Backpacks

Children aged five to 11 years old can enjoy finding out more about Norwich Cathedral with the help of our Explorer Backpacks.

The bags are free to borrow and packed full of items to help children engage with the Cathedral, including a set of binoculars, a torch, magnifying glass, compass, tape measure and mirror, plus a pencil to help them complete a special trail.
