The poignant words of poet and priest Malcolm Guite accompany a new short video about the Cathedral's Coronavirus Memorial which pays tribute to all who have lost their life to Covid-19 in Norfolk.
"Behind each number one beloved face
A light in life whom no-one can replace"
The poignant words of poet and priest Malcolm Guite, from his poem called The Quarantine Quatrains, echo the sentiment of our Coronavirus Memorial in the Nave of the Cathedral where sadly every cross represents one of more than 1,000 people in Norfolk who have lost their life to Covid-19.
In this video Mr Guite's words are spoken by the Revd Canon Andy Bryant, Canon for Mission and Pastoral Care at Norwich Cathedral, and the images are by photographer Bill Smith.
