Three peregrine falcon eggs laid on the spire
31 Mar 2023

The Cathedral’s resident peregrine falcons are awaiting the arrival of some new additions to their family after the female peregrine laid a trio of eggs in March.
The first egg was laid on the peregrine falcons’ nesting box high up on the Cathedral spire in the early morning of 26 March and the second egg arrived on the evening of 28 March. The third egg was laid at about 10.30am on 31 March.
Glimpses of the eggs can been seen in the images below from the Hawk and Owl Trust's 24-hour livestream from the nesting box.
Now all eyes are on the spire as we await the hatching of the 2023 peregrine falcon chicks!
