Norwich Cathedral to host Norwich North hustings ahead of the General Election

As the countdown continues to the General Election, the Dean of Norwich will be hosting a hustings for the Norwich North constituency on Friday 21 June at Norwich Cathedral.
All of the prospective parliamentary candidates for Norwich North have been invited to the event which will start at 7.30pm in the Nave.
Prospective parliamentary candidates for Norwich North who have confirmed attendance include Alice Macdonald (Labour), Charlotte Salomon (Conservative), Nick Taylor (Reform UK) and Fiona Grace (Independent).
Dr Catherine Rowett, a prospective parliamentary candidate for South Norfolk, will be representing the Green Party.
The Dean of Norwich, the Very Revd Dr Andrew Braddock, who will be chairing the event, said: “Election hustings play a vital role in local democracy, giving an opportunity to question the candidates who wish to represent us in Parliament.
“Norwich Cathedral is pleased to host such public debate and so contribute to the election process.”
People are encouraged to arrive early and will be able to submit questions from 7pm.
Admission is free and no ticket is required.
Entrance is via the Cathedral's North West door.
The event is due to conclude at approximately 8.45pm.
The General Election will take place on Thursday 4 July.
