UNDISCLOSED was an exhibition seeking to expose modern slavery as a 21st century crime.
The exhibition took place in the Hostry from 2 March to 18 April 2022 and was curated by Caroline Evans and Nicola Hockley.
Seven well established contemporary artists (including one collaborative pair) were commissioned to produce new work that challenges and engages audiences in order to raise awareness and inspire deeper thinking.
Artists included Jo Pearl, Vanessa Rolf, Ismini Samanidou, James Quinn and Judith Stewart, Jhonatan Pulido and Melissa Pierce Murray. The exhibition will include textiles, ceramics, film/video, installation, photography, paintings, sculpture and books. Artists were selected because of their subject specialism and because they have conceptual and research-led practices.
