Specialist Tour: The Cathedral and its Monks

The Anglo-Saxon cathedral was sited at North Elmham. This tour looks at the arrival of the Norman cathedral to Norwich and its impact on the city.
We will then look at the cathedral mainly as the context for the religious life of its Benedictine monks in the Middle Ages.

Arriving for the tour
Please note this tour will begin at the Erpingham Gate, one of the Cathedral's two medieval gates on Tombland. The Erpingham Gate is the gate closest to the Maid's Head Hotel.
