Specialist Tour: Martha the Monastery Maid

We hear a lot about the monks who lived and worshipped at Norwich Cathedral. Not so much about the small army of servants who looked after them.

On this tour you'll go back in time and discover what life was like when Martha the Monastery Maid worked for the Benedictine monks in Norwich in the 1300s.

This tour starts at 11.15am on Saturday 21 March.

Tickets cost £7 per person plus a small booking fee.

Arriving for the tour

Just ask a member of the welcome and donations team when you arrive at the Hostry entrance to the Cathedral, and they will direct you to the starting point for the tour.
