Library exhibition: Edith Cavell in her own voice
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10am to 4pm, 10:00 - 16:00
Location: Library

The exhibition seeks to hear Edith Cavell's own voice through her own Bible and her copy of Thomas Kempis, The imitation of Christ, both of which she marked, showing passages that mattered to her. Also on display are artworks by her, a dress that she wore, the Communion set belonging to the Revd Stirling Gahan from which she received Communion the night before her execution, and her beloved dog, Jack.
