Choral Evensong with the Commissioning of Eco-Chaplains

All are welcome to join us on Sunday 22nd June at 3.30pm as four new Eco Chaplains are commissioned by The Bishop of Thetford during Evensong.

The Eco Chaplains have been trained to help parishes embed creation care in their mission and ministry through worship, witness, teaching, pastoral care, discipleship, buildings, and land across the diocese.

The primary purpose of this voluntary role is to encourage and support churches to respond to the climate and ecological crisis by advocating for environmental action, resourcing others, and helping churches on their net zero journey.

We look forward to welcoming Capella Dorstead, who will sing this service whilst the Cathedral Choir sing Evensong in Salle.
