Organ Festival volunteers

A special summer festival will celebrate the return of Norwich Cathedral’s historic pipe organ and, following a call-out for volunteers, all of the volunteer places for the Organ Festival have now been filled.

However, there are lots of other volunteering opportunities at Norwich Cathedral!

From being a welcomer to a guide to helping in our gift shop, there are many different ways you can support Norwich Cathedral as a volunteer.

There are also lots of opportunities to enjoy the Organ Reborn! 2024 Festival as an audience member!

The festival will run from Saturday 6 to Sunday 14 July 2024 and celebrate the first anniversary of the organ’s return following an ambitious rebuild project to ensure people can enjoy its music for generations to come.

From epic concerts with three Cathedral Choirs, the BBC Singers and Britten Sinfonia to a Battle of the Organs, there is lots for music fans to look forward to throughout the nine-day event.
