All are welcome to join in the royal celebrations at Norwich Cathedral as the nation marks the Coronation of Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort.

Norwich Cathedral will be live-streaming in the Nave the BBC coverage of both the Coronation at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6 May and also the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle on Sunday 7 May.

There will also be a special Service of Thanksgiving at Norwich Cathedral on Sunday 7 May at 10.30am followed by drinks and a jazz quartet in the Cloister and, later that day, a Festal Evensong will take place at 3.30pm. Both of these services can also be watched online on the Norwich Cathedral Services YouTube Channel.

Throughout the Coronation weekend, visitors will also be able to enjoy beautiful displays created by the Cathedral’s Flower Guild to decorate the Cathedral for the historic occasion.

The Dean of Norwich, the Very Revd Dr Andrew Braddock, said: “Norwich Cathedral looks forward to celebrating the Coronation.

"The King and Queen Consort are dedicated to serving our nation and the Commonwealth. We give thanks for their commitment to faith and duty.

"This is a moment to affirm the part we can all play in building up our common life as local communities and a nation. We look forward to welcoming people to our special services and events across the Coronation weekend.”
