Picture highlights from the launch of Art in the Close

Art in the Close - Norwich Cathedral's new outdoor exhibition featuring sculptures by John Maine and Lynn Chadwick - was officially opened by The Lady Dannatt, the Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk, on Monday 1 September.

Thank you to all who joined us in celebrating the launch of this inspiring exhibition which will run until spring 2026.

We hope people of all ages will enjoy exploring the wonderful sculptures that can be found in three different areas of The Close - the Cloister, Lower Close and Almary Green.
