Creative walking between past and present Norwich
Friday 14 and Saturday 15 November 2025

Step back in time and immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Norwich’s medieval past with a captivating ‘Being Human’ festival event, led by professional actors bringing John Paston and Margery Brews vividly to life. Walk and talk with family members of the Paston Letters fame, as they share moving tales of passion, plague, and prayer, guiding you through the city’s most historic corners—from Hungate Medieval Art and the cobbled charm of Elm Hill, to the Maid’s Head Hotel and the serene Cathedral Labyrinth. This free one-hour walk promises a sensory journey through heritage and humanity—but places are limited.
Walks take place on November 14th (12–1 pm & 2–3 pm) and Saturday, November 15th 12-1 pm. Brollies are welcome, there are indoor as well as outdoor sites en route, as well as areas.
